Celebration: New Domain

Everyone, it’s time to celebrate!!!

Today, January 11, 2017 (1/11/17), I have decided to go ahead and buy a domain. From now on, you can find all of my posts at MagnificentMiles.blog.

With the purchase of my domain, I can now posts videos and mp3’s. I can post songs that I like, playlists that I create, videos I take, and can treat this as a space for my additional creative measures.  We will see what I come up with. Go-Go Gadget Creativity!!!

The purchasing of my domain is an important reflection of my progression over the years. I started blogging with inspiration from Martin Luther King Jr. on the “I have a dream movement” page in December of 2010. I was out of school, about to return after spending years searching for my place in the world. I had my passion for dreaming reignited and wanted to share. I was going to grow my hair out to donate to cancer and talk about the growing process of giving something to others.

In 2012 I created this blog and “lessons in class” while getting rid of the “I have a dream movement” blog. At this time, I was caught in between how I wanted to present myself to the world and what I wanted to say. I compartmentalized everything that made me unique instead of accepting the good and the bad. Yes, focused blogs get better traffic but my inspiration is my life. Life is not boxed off. See my success and failure.

I started to truly reflect on who I am and not trying to hide anymore. That brought me to combine all of my blogs, write daily, and buy my own domain. I can now grow and build slowly and share what makes me unique. I don’t know where I am heading, but I am heading somewhere!
