I wanted to debut a new series for the blog today with Vintage Vibes. Every once in a while, I’ll showcase a favorite song from years ago that still remains dear to my heart. For this week, we have Amel Larrieux For Real.
Amel Larrieux is lead singer from Groove Theory, 90’s neo-soul mainstays. For Real was the first time I listened to her in years as she completely mesmerized me with her whistle range and gentle visuals. The lyrics were loving and warm.
