Mr. Magnificent Miles

Miles Spann is the result of countless prayers and endless love poured into one person. He wholeheartedly believes in the power of Jesus Christ to create a reformed and fulfilled life as he experienced himself.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, he was pushed to expect more from himself. He learned that ingenuity, imagination, and heart are essential to creating a life worth living. Since then, he has developed a passion not only to see success for himself, but for those around him.

He’s passionate about creating avenues for freedom in his community and helping others unlock their true potential. He believes that a fulfilled person is a productive person and a better member of society. He wants to see a world where everyone can be their best selves.

To do so, He has embraced the opportunity to live out Matthew 5:16 as his personal credo.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Miles currently works for the City of Durham as a Community Engagement Strategist. He serves the community at large by going into neighborhoods, finding individuals or organizations that are working to make their area better, then equipping them with the resources and knowledge to be successful. He wants to encourage and uplift people so that they can do the same for others.

In his spare time, Miles loves to explore the arts. He is passionate about writing, photography, film, art, music, and much more. He hosts a podcast called, “A Magnificent Podcast” (available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts), that covers the topics of self-improvement, God, and navigating life.
